Founder, In Joy Wellness
Classes she teaches
Jessica Jacobs is the founder of IN JOY Wellness & Yoga Studio, where she is dedicated to creating meaningful spaces that nurture the well-being of individuals and families of every age. From prenatal and postpartum to children, parents, grandparents, and caregivers, Jessica’s mission is to foster lifelong wellness through movement, mindfulness, creativity, and connection.
She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Florida Atlantic University, where she completed extensive coursework in Elementary Education, providing a strong foundation in child development, learning theory, and age-appropriate teaching practices. Jessica has more than six years of experience leading children’s enrichment programs, including STEM initiatives and programs with the YMCA and Boys & Girls Club, designing engaging experiences that inspire curiosity, confidence, and connection.
As the visionary behind IN JOY Wellness and IN JOY Kids, Jessica is passionate about creating welcoming environments where people of all ages can move, create, regulate their nervous systems, build meaningful relationships, and cultivate lifelong well-being. Her vision is to help every individual and family feel seen, supported, connected, and empowered to live with more joy.

Ciara Rodriguez is the Director of Joy for the IN JOY Kids Enrichment Program at IN JOY Wellness & Yoga Studio. She is a graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and is continuing her professional education through advanced studies in Child Mindfulness and Neurodiversity. She has also studied graduate-level early childhood education concepts, further strengthening her understanding of child development and whole-child learning. Through the K.I.D.A.R. Framework, Ciara helps children build confidence, emotional resilience, self-awareness, and lifelong wellness habits through movement, mindfulness, creativity, and connection.

Cecile is a Hatha Yoga instructor with over five years of teaching experience, offering thoughtfully guided classes that balance strength, stretch, and deep relaxation. Her teaching weaves together mindful movement, breathwork, meditation, and sound healing — known for a welcoming, supportive environment with variations for all levels.

Gina Lee, a native New Yorker and previous owner of Bearfoot Yoga and Wellness Center, is a 20-year teacher in the traditional Hatha lineage. Her classes blend traditional yoga with functional movement, neuroscience-informed practices, mobilization, stabilization, and deep rest with guided relaxation.

Inspired by the philosophy of bhava — becoming through experience — her classes blend strength, mindful breath, and intentional movement to help students build resilience, connect with their bodies, and strengthen somatic awareness. With a background in personal training and corrective exercise, Sara creates supportive yet empowering practices that invite students to meet challenge with curiosity, presence, and self-trust.
